WHAT IT DOES
Continuity is not a setting. Each shot is filmed from a still you approved, and the last frame of one shot is handed to the next as its starting point — so the light, the place and the person carry across the cut.

Every shot has a keyframe you can see and approve before anything moves. Filming animates that exact image rather than inventing one, which is why two shots of the same room are the same room.
Shots run at once. One that fails retries on its own rather than taking the others with it, and the provider job handle is kept — so a crash resumes polling instead of paying for the same generation twice.
