QUESTIONS
The things people ask before they start
- Will it look like a slideshow?
- No. Each scene is real video, made from a still you approved, with the camera move you picked. The cuts land on the words as they are actually spoken. It is a film, not photos with a fade between them.
- What happens when a shot comes out wrong?
- You re-film that one shot. Every other shot stays exactly as it is and costs nothing again, and the button shows the price before you press it. Change the story later and it tells you which scenes are now out of date.
- Can I use my own face and voice?
- Yes. Upload a photo and it becomes your character, and upload a recording of your own voice to narrate with. Both stay the same in every scene.
- How much does a film cost?
- A one-minute film comes to about $5.70 cut into six long takes, and about $22.98 in twenty-four quick cuts. How many shots you cut it into is your decision, made on the storyboard before anything is filmed, and every step shows its own price before it spends anything.
- Do I need to know anything about video?
- One sentence is all you need. Everything after that, the outline, the characters, the shot list, the voices, the edit, is written for you, in plain words you can change.
- What do I actually get at the end?
- An MP4 you own, with captions burned in, your logo if you want it, and a re-crop for vertical or square. A paid plan exports up to 4K and carries no watermark.
